  11. Dreddolator Minimum System Requirements
  12. ---------------------------------------
  13. 386 PC with 6 MB RAM (8 MB RAM recommended)
  14. 1.5 MB available disk space
  15. Mouse and VGA Driver (SVGA, 800x600, 256 colors or higher)
  16. Windows 3.1, or Windows for Workgroups
  17. Video for Windows 1.1E
  18. (16 Bit sound card recommended)

  20. WHERE TO INSTALL YOUR DREDDOLATOR
  21. ---------------------------------
  22. When you download your copy of the dreddolator, you should expand it
  23. from the root directory of your hard-drive, such as C:\.
  24. When you run PKUNZIP with the "-d" option, it will create the following
  25. C:\DREDD and C:\DREDD\CARDS subdirectory in the extraction process:

  27. C:\DREDD                        - This is the application directory
  28.                                 - with the program and its components
  29.  
  30.          readme.txt             - This file
  31.          jdjdredd.exe           - The Dreddolator application                  
  32.          fileio.dll             - A Dreddolator component
  33.          moveutils.dll          - A Dreddolator component
  34.  
  35. C:\DREDD\CARDS                  - This is the cards directory where
  36.                                 - all cards that you download should
  37.                                 - be located
  38.  
  39.          info.avi               - A Dreddolator component
  40.          intro.avi              - A Dreddolator component
  41.  
  42. STARTING UP THE DREDDOLATOR
  43. ---------------------------
  44. Once you have installed the application, locate the application
  45. directory.  Double clicking on JDJDREDD.EXE in the File Manager will
  46. startup the Dreddolator.
  47.  
  48. DOWNLOADING DREDD CARDS
  49. -----------------------
  50. Each Dredd Card contains two components - an ".avi" file and 
  51. a ".pic" file.  Once you have downloaded a card, place its components
  52. in the C:\DREDD\CARDS directory.

  54. Dreddolator Tips
  55. ----------------
  56. Download someClick the mouse on any of the various buttons, including the
  57. trigger at the handle of the Dreddolator.  Wait a few seconds
  58. after you click a button or viewer window to see the results.
  59. By moving the mouse around the Dreddolator, slowly, you will
  60. see Microhelp in yellow text within the Dreddolator.  This should
  61. help you to decide which buttons you want to press.  There are some
  62. fun videos, sounds and Bio's on two Perps (the bad guys).

  66. Do not change Dredd Card file names!  The Dreddolator depends on
  67. information contained in the filename string.
